On Shooting and Travelling.

On Shooting.

1. Wear sunblock. I didn't swim in the beach, but I became darker because I have been taking too much pictures under the friggin' sun!
2. Bring spare batteries. Many photo opportunities may be lost if you don't have any spare batteries with you. If you don't have any spare batteries, charge them when you're sleeping.
3. Bring water with you. Too much heat can cause dehydration.
4. Be a keen observer. Photo opportunities are not always obvious.
5. Prepare to look stupid. Some people just don't understand why you have to kneel, or bend just to take pictures. They will just get the notion that you're a wacko. :p

On Travelling.
1. Always eat plenty, bring baon. You'll never know when you'll get stranded on a port where the only food they sell are donuts and instant cup noodles.
2. Bring fan. If you're travelling during the peak season, expect that there are more passengers than the usual. Usually, these boats tend to board more passengers than its maximum capacity, tendency is, airconditioning units won't be able to cool all of the passengers.
3. Be prepared for muscle pains. All those long hours of standing, or sitting, can give you muscle cramps.
4. Bring jacket with you. Aircon buses are just too cold.
5. Do not drink too much water. That is, if you are about to travel hours on the road, on a passenger bus. PUBs are only limited to only one stopover, so take the opportunity to use the rest room during this stop. If you are riding you own car, good for you. A stopover at Starbucks in SLEX may be fun.
6. Enjoy the journey. Appreciate every scenery. Though you were not able to capture 'every moment', I'll bet the whole experience is incomparable.
