I already have the journal!

Luigi and I checked out Fully Booked at Gateway Mall and immediately went to their notebooks section. At first what I saw are plain King Jim notebooks that obviously don't match my journal requirements, then I saw their leather journals. Yes, they are cool and they come with boxes, but when I looked at the price, I was flabbergasted! The variety of journals cost from P500 (the size of a tickler) to P1000+ (the size of a standard notebook). Yes, there are 200 leaves (I think), but no it doesn't come with a pen, and I think it is not worth to spend a thousand bucks for that journal. So I decided to go scout for a more worth-spending journal next time. Disappointed yet again with my quest for the ultimate journal, I decided to check out the books at Fully Booked. I noticed they have a lot of graphic novels for sale and they have lots of mangas too!!! But what amazed me the most is that, they have KARE KANO mangas! The price of a single Kare Kano manga hurts (as it costs P599), and if I collect all eight volumes, that would be 8 multiplied by 599, and therefore would cost me... just do the math! =p

While at Fully Booked, I have to check out their Filipiniana section (what's could be in store for me) and the first book I saw (really, it was the first book I saw), was Tikman ang Langit-An Anthology to the Eraserheads. Being an Eraserheads fan, I quickly grabbed the book (never mind the synopsis, just grab the book, it might turn into ashes!) and hurriedly looked for Luigi to tell him I am going to pay for the book. Impulse buying, indeed.

my own copy!

So i fell in queue at the cashier, and paid for the book. On my way out, I saw another variety of journals. Disappointingly, they are not leather, but they are hardbound (I guess its all I can afford). They don't come with a pen too, but to sum all the features of the journal I picked, I think it was well worth the money I paid for.

Who could be receiving this precious journal, then?

sorry to disappoint you yhang, but its not you. someday, we'll see... someday.

DOES CHIVALRY STILL EXIST?

Fully Booked is .

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot.

SM City Sta. Mesa's foodcourt will be gone, and instead be replaced with a carpark. Yes, with a CARPARK. So that means SM Supermarket, Jollibee and other food stalls at the Foodcourt will close to give way to the upcoming 'renovation'. The renovation is mainly to build-up the new Mezza Residences--"Live, Dine, Shop all under one roof.", which is just accross SM City Sta. Mesa. Updates says that our last day at the Foodcourt will be on the last day of February. It sucks, indeed.

So we, the Counter Basement team will probably be absorbed by the Counter Ground team. There will be no Basement team and Team Ground, anymore.

In line with the abolishment of the Jollibee SM City Sta. Mesa Foodcourt, Jollibee Ground (Located at the Ground flr, duh) will be partly renovated, because our store is becoming older, and older. FYI, JB Sta. Mesa is the 86th store of Jollibee, JB Coronets being the first.

I have to renew my NBI Clearance, Mayor's Permit, and Health Permit, soon.

And did you guys notice that there is now a Rubix Cube mania? I think 8 out of 10 people I see, is now solving a Rubix Cube! "Pag may 'I' ka na, iikot mo ung base, ng dalawang beses... blah blah." and poof! the Rubix cube is solved! I mean, come on, solving the Rubix Cube before can make you one hell of a genius, but now, solving the Rubix Cube can make you one hell of a dufus! Eh it seems like the challenge is now lost in solving the Rubix Cube. Pfft.

I cannot solve a Rubix cube, so sue me!

Peace! =)

The sweet pain of journal-hunting.

Can someone tell me where on this earth can I buy a COOL leather journal???
And by cool, I mean the not-Papemelroti not-Karton type of journals.

Prerequisites:
1. It MUST be leather.
2. 200 pages at least
3. has something gold or pink on it.
4. it can come with a pen. =)
5. Did i say it must be leather?
6. It must come cheap. lol. But I am willing to spend, as long as the cost is reasonable!!!

Argghh... this is killing me, I am not by nature a mall rat and I hate walking, or strolling at jam-packed malls, so please, please help me find a store where I can buy cool journal! Who knows, the journal might be for you. Aha.

PS. deadline for submission of suggestions is on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

Hapi Valentyms, everyone!

Excuse me sir, coffee, tea or juice?

Amazing! This leg of the race was the most heart-stopping! Marc & Rovilson, who left the race first, came in fourth, but then ended up second! Talk about luck! Go Team Philippines! =)

Work yesterday was fun, Dane (the gayest of the gays) was on closing shift and he updated us on some gossips at work. lol. M'Mhy bought herself a new phone (a Sony Ericsson 5-megapixel camera, how cool is that?), and we of course, took pictures using it. On a sad note, however, there had been feedbacks regarding the poor performance of the Basement team, so pressure is on us again. Pfft.

I am switching back to Adobe Photoshop v.7, Adobe CS3 is too heavy for the RAM of my computer and my cousin says there are slight differences between the two, so I might as well switch back to Adobe v.7.

I hate handwritten assignments. In the advent of computer technology, handwritten assignments could be tiring. Believe me, I'd rather type than write. See, our professor on Industrial Technology wants a HANDWRITTEN written report (sounds redundant) on the history and development of electronics. Why write it if you can copy-paste it? I know, I am lazy no need to stress that. XD

Wala akong maisulat.

Midterm week is over. No more cramming and forced reviews for me. Yipee! =)

Friends are going to SM Megamall this weekend, I want to go with them. I hope I could request a halfday this time. I have been requesting for leaves too much lately.

>wala akong maisulat<

theshutterhappy

Earlier today, I was late at work for 30 freakin' minutes. All the sleepless nights accumulated, prompting me to sleep an hour and a half more than I planned. I was scolded at work, but I managed to shrug it off. No big.

And I am now on Flickr!

Dani is shutter happy.

Midterm week, huh?

No procrastination for me, this week is Midterm week!

Drafting is very stressful. I have to make a floor plan like this one below for submission on Tuesday. Drafting makes your head, your back, your fingers... basically your whole body ache! Basta nakakapagod.
floor plan

and look, a three! (told you, drafting is stressful)

that 3.0 in a bloody red ink

and our thesis adviser, M'Jacolbia, says that she wants a soft copy of our thesis. Coolness!

Live from Abbey Road

One of my subjects require a demo-teaching to pass it, and I chose to demonstrate Stenography, being it my most loved subject. Demo-teaching Stenography would require me to have a thorough knowledge of the subject, to have a very legible writing of stenography strokes, and a very clear and audible voice for dictation. So far, I can say I have thorough knowledge of the subject and I have a clear and audible voice, my only problem is, my shorthand strokes are not legible. It is only I who can understand my strokes, which was advantage over cheaters, btw, but now, it is my major problem! I have to practice writing my shorthand strokes, or else, it would be a downfall for me!

My mom called earlier from Davao, she was telling me how she and my father jetskied the waters of Davao and how they are going on a banana-boat ride, and kayak tomorrow. I should have been there in their trip to Davao, but I have school so life sucks. XD Pampalubag-loob: my mom says she bought me a cool silk bag from Davao, plus a souveneir shirt. I am such a sucker for souveneirs.

Someday, I'll travel. I'll first start with Cebu, then Tagaytay, Baguio, Bacolod, Bohol, Batangas, then... the world.

Days ago, I saw the movie Saturday Night Fever and it sucks! I thought this movie has some good moral in it, in between the disco lights, the tight bell bottom jeans, mixed up with the 70's groove, but I was disappointed. Yeah, John Travolta's dance moves are hot, but other things equal, all he did was be this 'cute' yet 'tupid guy. Peace!

If you happen to see who's performing on the next episode of Live from Abbey Road, and if it is Craig David, please, please please, tell me. I am so dying to see that episode! =)

Today is Sunday. Usually, after I have done all my assignments, I would be watching South Park on Jack TV, but since Jack TV is gone, I guess I will be stuck here in my room, wallowing over its demise on cable TV.

"He said, "I'll love you forever." I said, "Please warn me when forever starts to end."

Show 'em!

I am dying to upload my pictures but my internet is still a problem. So, I am going to bewitch my mother to let me have a dsl connection. I am so gonna win this! XD

There is always a problem.

There is always a problem about my internet connection, it's either I can't connect to the net, or I can't browse any page. Of course, I already complained this inconvenience, but the tech rep insists (her name is Tel, and God I hate her!), that it must be my computer with the problem (what does she know anyway?). However, she says that other than the computer being the problem, what I am experiencing may be a congestion in the line. And so I ask "What do you do about this congestion?", but she answered me with them-doing-their-best crap. To end the conversation (I might end up shouting at a tech rep again), I hung up on her. Just so you know, hunging up on tech reps are a big no-no for them. haha!

Last Monday was the start of classes and I was on rest day that day (I know I'll be strolling the mall after classes). Would you believe I missed PUP? The classrooms, the windoors (broken windows that seemed like doors), the broken ceiling fans, the armdesks, the classmates, the professors? Not! haha.. Tons of exams were scheduled that day but most of them are postponed, the whole class ended up talking about their holiday vacations! Then it came to me that my glory days of procrastinating are over. tsk, tsk...

PEPSI will monopolize the soft drinks industry in PUP. No more Coke, Coke Light, Royal, Sprite, and other soft drinks you know in the market. Just Pepsi, Pepsi Light, and Pepsi Max. Not that I complain though, because I am a Pepsi Max junkie. Its just that, students have the right to choose the drink they want to drink and PUP Administration is now taking that right away. It turns out like drinking Coke is now a privelege.

I will take a picture of PUP and show you how beautiful it can be, despite its century-old facilites.

My mom left earlier today for General Santos City, she is going to surprise my father! Today is my father's birthday, Happy Birthday Papa! My mom left me in charge of the budget, *laughs like a witch* but of course, I am expected not to overspend. Aside from me in charge of the budget, being the eldest, I am basically in charge of the whole household. Plus, I can watch TV in the master's bedroom any time I want!

Let's peace it together!

Flash drives

My father is leaving for General Santos tomorrow. He went there a month ago but went back here in Manila to spend the holidays with us. His pasalubong, this shirt:

And take a look at this two diffrent flash drives. This one below belongs to my manager. She lent me her flash drive so that I'll have a copy of her set of Christmas party pictures, but when I triedd plugging it in my computer's USB port, it wont fit! See the difference for yourself.

my manager's flash drive

my flash drive

Here's a picture of my To-do List:

While watching local tv earlier today (my brother is dying to watch Goin' Bulilit) I noticed these commercials about tv ratings in both of the two most famous rival networks and much to my annoyance, took almost 5 minutes of commercial airtime. They say they really don't care about tv ratings, what they care about is the truth (not really verbatim here). What the >>? If they don't care about the tv ratings, stop airing these commercials! They should just probably sue each other instead, so that attorneys can rob out good money out of them. Pfft.

I quit you.

As I inhale the nicotine of the cigarette I tried to smoke,
I am burning the memories of you and me, the good and the bad.

Just like a cigarette smoke,
A part of you gets out and dissolves into thin air
Yet, some of it remain.

I have quit smoking.
I quit you.

But the damage...
The part that remained which is slowly poisoning my lungs,
is like you.

Is like you, killing me slowly, inside.

I have quit smoking,
I quit you.

YES!!!

so, my internet na uli ako, belat!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!! =)

anyways,
I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. Our cable provider (which is Sky, btw), decided to replace Jack TV with Maxxx. Now someone tell me, WHERE CAN I WATCH SOUTH PARK AND THAT 70s SHOW NOW???

There are other channels replaced, but I'm too busy to bother. Since I hibernated from the Internet this holiday season, I spent my vacation couch potatoing and found out that: Marc Nelson and Rovilson (I don't know his surname) joined Amazing Race Asia 2, CSI is indeed addicting, and GMA shows suck (and so does Wowowee). lol.

click me for GoNuts Donuts moments with Patty and Lourdes.

ps.
check out my latest pictures! hahaha... La Mesa was fun!
