Pansit Bihon

Yesterday afternoon, me and my brother cooked pansit bihon. It felt like cooking something for the first time. hehe. Armed with the list of steps on how to cook pansit bihon, tadahh!!! We had pansit bihon for our merienda.

Here's how (in case you get too hungry, and you have all the ingredients in your pantry):

What you'll need:

  • bawang
  • sibuyas
  • meat (could be pork or chicken)
  • vegetables (cabbage, carrots, sayote)
  • broth cubes (pork or chicken)
  • pansit
  • water
  • spices (asin, paminta, vetsin)

Procedures:
  1. Put oil in the pan.
  2. Saute your garlic and onion.
  3. Add your meat, stir fry until cooked.
  4. Add your vegetables. Stir fry.
  5. Add your broth cubes. Stir fry until veggies are half-cooked.
  6. Add water. The ratio of the water should be proportionate to your bihon. To cut time cooking the bihon, have the water pre-boiled.
  7. Put your bihon.
  8. When the water is like absorbed by the bihon, your bihon is cooked!
So there. Enjoy your pansit, everyone. :)

And now for a piece of some 80's music:
