Something is wrong.

Something is seriously wrong with my Java uploader!!!

I need help, bad.

All in a Day's Work

I will write about my day at work today because this may be the last time I'd do so.

I arrived at work fifteen minutes ahead of schedule, surprised to see Chester was there. We exchanged greetings, nothing much really, so I guess we're good.

After changing into my uniform, all of my co-crews were teasing me about the presence of Chester (his real name, btw) at the counter earlier. Even our manager was teasing me! Tsk, tsk. After the teasing subsided, they then bugged me about my very very very puffy eyes. Coming up with a rather lame excuse about my eyes will be lamer, so I just shrugged my elbows. :D My private life is not really that private at work. hahaha.. Masyadong showbiz si A'Dani. lol. I guess they were pretty much surprised to see me that way.

Today is Momon's birthday. Twenty years of humble existence. One of the kindest crews I met. I wish you have more birthdays to come!

My head was aching like hell, and maybe that pretty much explains my aloofness to my customers. Their say their whims at the last minute and I make sure they see the most sneer look I could give them.

I almost sparked an argument with my co-counter (of which of course I'll win). She just doesn't know that respect comes with 'FIFO sa out-pending'.

I was able to persuade my manager a thirty-minute earlier time off at work. Sweeeeetttt.

Update the whole Kitchen Team's CTPR. We started updating the CTPR at around 5:30 in the afternoon, then finished at around 9 in the evening. Updatng the CTPR equals bonding time with my best friends at work. I miss them.

Turning Twenty Blues.

If you have served your purpose, would you stay? Or would you let me go?

I realized that in my nineteen years of existence in this world, I have still more to learn. I am not the center of the universe, and being vulnerable doesn't mean you are weak.

I realized that appearing to be strong so that others would get the impression that you really are, is selfish. Selfish in a sense that you are making everybody else blindly happy--everybody, but you.

I have always thought that my purpose in this life is to make everybody happy, to touch the lives of every people I meet, in one way or another. I have even thought of having this statement as my epitaph 'Touched the lives of others in a way no one else can.' But if I, myself don't know how I'll be happy, how can I make others feel happy about themselves too?

And it always frustrates me. If being with me doesn't make you happy, then you don't deserve me at all, because I don't serve my purpose in the first place. Some sad thought, huh?

I am afraid. That making you happy means losing you, yet losing you will leave me unhappy.

You didn't even say that you missed me.

That video.

Until my LCD breaks,
Even batteries ran out.
I'll watch that video to death.
To remind me how happy I was, with you.

Getting on that Bus to Batangas.

1. means missing out a busy day at work.
2. means missing out a family outing.
3. means photo opportunities.
4. means great food, karaoke, and booze, probably. lol.
5. means great beach, great sunset.
6. means a beautiful wedding.

Getting on that Bus to Batangas means SUMMER.

Too bad I am missing out that bus to Batangas. I always have a choice, that's why I hate myself.

Enrollment Craps.

First day of classes is just three days away and I am no close to getting my registration card on time.

Thursday
11:15am
I arrived at our scholarship office to process my enrollment credentials.

11:30am
Went to the Accounting Division, 2nd floor. To my surprise, the lights at their office were off and the blinds are closed. The office is already at lunch break.

You must be kidding me. Who takes lunchbreaks at 11:30 am?!

Okay, so I heard other professors rant about PUP offices opening late to students and taking breaks early, but I never really imagined this could happen to me. Must I really experience this before I graduate? lol.

Anyways, I decided to wait for the office to open. While waiting, I took pictures of our beloved PUP. I was thinking whether the office will open on time or not, but good thing they did. lol again.

1:00pm
Dani (in a very clear and audible voice): Good afternoon po, pwede po ba kay Mam Gigi?

>nobody answers<
Dani: Ummm... excuse me po, si Mam Gigi po?
An old hag: Hindi mo ba nakikitang wala is Mam Gigi? Kaya nga iba nakatao diyan oh.

Then a very kind man asked what can he do for me, and so I handed him my R0 and my Memorandum of Agreement. After checking it, he asked me to go to the Server Room across the hallway.

1:15pm
Went to the Server Room to have my R0 'tagged'.

1:30pm
From the Server Room, I went to the ARO to finally get my registration card. There was a long queue at the ARO and I found out that they are for transferees. I asked one of the people falling in queue as to where could the line for the Registrations card be, but he has no idea. Moments later, another window opens, I passed my R0 for processing but much to my dismay, the girl said they only process R0s at 5:30pm in the afternoon onwards.

Great. After cursing to death under my breath. hahaha... I just decided to pursue my enrollment adventure tomorrow after work.

Friday, 5:00pm
Server is down.

All these under the effin' heat of the freakin' sun.

Welcome, Freshmen!!!
